DFDS King and Princess seaways are sisters and the project included both ships.

The HVAC control system was replaced during ship’s normal operation. The new PLC based decentralized control system was programmed for energy efficiency and passenger and crew comfort. New Frequency drives,sensors and actuators were installed for demand control of the accommodation areas and the public spaces. The Engine rooms ventilation systems were equipped with temperature and pressure control in order to adapt air supply to the different engine load situations.
